On the morning of November 30, Nhieu Loc - Thi Nghe canal was vitalized with the thunderous sound, the cheerful cheers when the first Xuan Hoa Ward Ngo Boat Racing Festival in 2025 officially kicked off. The event was held in response to the National Great Unity Festival and the Ok Om Bok Festival on the 14th and 15th of the 10th lunar month.
From early morning, boat teams from An Giang, Tra Vinh... have been present on the banks of the canal. Khmer athletes warming up, checking each cheering beat, adjusting the ropes, and the rhythmic shouts of the commander created a bustling preparation scene like before a big battle.
This year, 18 boat teams entered the competition early in the morning to find the first champion of the tournament. The first prize winning team received 30 million VND, Cup and souvenir flag. The prestigious award but more importantly, the glory to the locality and the community.
Under the cheers and cheers of many viewers, the Ngo boat racing teams were even more determined, harmonizing with the rowing roof beat to create a harmony of human and water resources.
