    Blackpink's Rose has reached another milestone as her hit single "APT." featuring Bruno Mars is certified platinum in the US.

    The song has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), representing over 1 million units sold and streams. "APT." marks a bold collaboration between Rose and global superstar Bruno Mars, receiving widespread recognition for its catchy melody.

    Rose became the first female K-pop artist to enter the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100. In addition, "APT." ranked No. 2 on the UK Official Singles Chart "Top 100" on January 3, solidifying its global success.

    "APT." was successful thanks to its catchy melody and memorable lyrics, according to Koreaboo. The song is taken from the Blackpink member's solo album released on December 6, 2024, titled "rosie", inspired by a popular Korean drinking game called Apartment. The Korean pronunciation of ''Apartment'', ''apateu'', is kept intact and repeated throughout, making an impression on the audience from the first listen.
