After a long hiatus from group activities for members to fulfill their military service and develop their personal careers, BTS has officially taken another step in their comeback journey.
In a surprise live broadcast on the We Verse platform, Jimin excited fans when he confirmed that the group had completed the recording process for the new album - a product expected to be released in the spring of 2026.
Jimin's online conversation quickly became the focus of social media when member V (Kim Taehyung) also appeared unexpectedly. Both updated their current situation and shared their excitement at BTS' reunion. During the conversation, Jimin revealed: We have finished recording. The brothers all tried very hard, and I hope everyone will have a long wait.
This information immediately made the global ARMY community able to pick up the wave, as this was the clearest sign that BTSs comprehensive comeback was approaching. Since the album Proof (2022), the group has not released any more joint products, as most of the members have enlisted in the army one after another.
BTS's completion of the recording also means the group is close to completing the preparation stage, paving the way for a large-scale "comeback" in 2026 - the time predicted to mark the anniversary and reunion of the seven members. Global fans are counting down the days to see the global group return to the stage with BTS's signature music and energy.
