Recently, the YouTube account of American blogger Dustin Cheverier with more than 800,000 followers shared a video recording unforgettable memories while traveling by bicycle in Mai Chau, Hoa Binh.
The male tourist said he stopped to eat bun cha at a local restaurant. However, after walking a few kilometers, he suddenly realized that he... forgot to pay. Dustin Cheverier quickly cycled back.
As soon as he arrived, the male tourist immediately apologized to the shop owner in bewilderment. An employee in the shop asked: "Did you forget something?". Dustin explained in Vietnamese: "Sorry! I haven't paid yet."
Receiving the answer, he subjectively laughed and said: "It's okay! It's okay! So why don't you go and come back in the afternoon or tomorrow to return it? It's nothing, it'll save you the trouble of traveling."
The owner's warm attitude made Dustin feel less shy. The male tourist was still panting while apologizing.
After being posted, the video quickly attracted millions of views on social networks and was widely shared on different platforms. Many comments praised the male tourist's honesty and were impressed with the welcoming attitude of the shop owner.
The restaurant that Dustin stopped at was Pho Vy Nam Dinh restaurant in Chieng Chau commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh, more than 10km from Lac village. The bowl of bun cha that male tourists enjoy costs 30,000 VND.
On his personal YouTube, Dustin also shared more about his Hoa Binh travel itinerary. He cycled for more than 12 hours in the scorching sun to explore the beautiful roads here, meet many local people, explore culture and enjoy Hoa Binh specialties.
Dustin's shares attracted hundreds of thousands of views. Besides, many comments expressed interest in the male tourist's journey in Vietnam.
