Unlike last year, the Ban Flower Festival was held for the first time at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium, instead of 7.5 Square. This change is to ensure a spacious and convenient space for a large number of people and tourists to attend.
According to Lao Dong, the stage serving the opening art program of the Ban Flower Festival was built towards stand B of the Provincial Stadium. The space is expected to have a capacity of over 12,000 people.
Talking to Lao Dong, director Viet Dang, general director of the program - said that the highlight of this year is the "huge" stage with an area of about 700m2. The stage is designed based on the image of the mountain ranges of Dien Bien and the Northwest, combined with a modern LED screen system, creating a vivid 3D effect for viewers.
The stage is designed with many special functions such as: lifting tables, sliding tables and flexible shaping changes. The entire stage can transform into 6-7 different shapes, recreating the typical landscape of the Northwest, specifically the geography of Dien Bien Phu" - director Viet Dang emphasized.
For the first time, the Ban Flowers Festival will have an additional music festival right after the end of the live TV show. Artists such as: Tung Duong, Double2T, Ngo Lan Huong... will perform newly arranged hits with local sounds.
Musician Duong Truong Giang - Music Director of the program - said that the general director wanted to bring a "young soul" to Dien Bien. The program promises to bring a unique artistic space, combining tradition and modernity.

According to the Organizing Committee of the art program opening the 2025 Ban Flower Festival and the 8th Dien Bien Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival with the theme "Dien Bien - The bright color of the morning" will be staged with high artistic quality.
The opening art program consists of 3 chapters: "Touching the region of memories", "Sensation of the scent", " mo len quintessence - Rising brilliantly", taking place on the evening of March 14.
Within the framework of the festival, there will be many activities such as: Hoa Ban Beauty Contest; street parade; highland cultural space; bicycle and bullet pushing competition; live show performance and introduction of legends, history and unique folk dances, Thai ethnic folk culture "U Va Heritage"...
