Nam Dinh - On the occasion of the beginning of Spring At Ty 2025, the historical and cultural relic site of Tran Temple - Thap Pagoda (Nam Dinh City) is bustling with tens of thousands of tourists coming to worship and enjoy spring.

Tran Temple is a place to worship the Tran kings and mandarins who contributed to the Tran dynasty, including the Great King Tran Quoc Tuan. The temple was built in 1695, consisting of three main architectural works: Thien Truong Temple, Co Trach Temple and Trung Hoa Temple.

In the first days of the year, Nam Dinh's weather was favorable, dry and sunny, so many tourists flocked to Tran Temple to worship.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh - Head of the Management Board of the Tran Temple - Thap Pagoda Historical and Cultural Relic Site - said: "This year, since the first day of Tet, the relic site has welcomed a large number of people and tourists to come and worship and sightsee. In just the first 6 days of the new year, Tran Temple welcomed about 80,000 visitors. To serve people coming to enjoy the spring, the temple will be open continuously from now until the Opening Seal Festival".

Going to Tran Temple with his family at the beginning of the year, Mr. Hoang Cong Thuong (Hung Ha district, Thai Binh province) shared: "Going to temples and pagodas at the beginning of the year has become a custom and cultural beauty of Vietnamese people, so every year my family and I come here to visit, enjoy the scenery, and pray for a new year with good health and peace. I see that in recent years, service activities around Tran Temple have been strictly managed, there has been no "overcharging", soliciting customers or offensive begging".

In addition to serving people during the spring festival, the Management Board of the Tran Temple - Thap Pagoda Historical and Cultural Relic Site is also preparing for the Tran Temple Spring Seal Opening Festival 2025, which will be held from February 8-13 (ie January 11-16 of the lunar calendar).

This year's Seal Opening Ceremony will have many contents, including a solemn ceremony and a vibrant festival, imbued with traditional cultural identity. Notably, this year the Organizing Committee will livestream the Seal Opening Ceremony on a screen installed outside, so that people who cannot enter the ceremony area can watch. This year, the Organizing Committee will distribute lucky seals to people and visitors from 5:00 a.m. on February 12 (January 15), at 3 locations: Giai Vu House, Exhibition House and Trung Hoa Temple.

To ensure security and order during the festival, Nam Dinh City Police have developed a plan and mobilized forces to set up security rings in and around Tran Temple. At the same time, they have organized traffic lanes and prevented and fought fires to ensure the safety of people and visitors to Tran Temple.
