Cao Le Tuan Tu and Nguyen Xuan Duy persistently journeyed across Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi to celebrate the National Day holiday on September 2.

With a passion for traveling and exploring, Cao Le Tuan Tu (41 years old, Ho Chi Minh City) has set foot in many provinces and cities in Vietnam. On National Day, September 2 this year, he decided to take a "for life" trip while walking from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi.

"I want to explore more provinces and cities across the country. This year, the National Day holiday was held very big in Hanoi, so I combined both reasons to make the trip, considering it a memorable milestone in my life. To increase the challenge, I chose to walk. ", Tuan Tu said.

Tuan Tu's companion was Nguyen Xuan Duy (21 years old, Ninh Binh). Both departed on June 5 at Dinh Doc Lap, Ho Chi Minh City.

Tuan Tu affirmed that he was lucky to have found a suitable companion: "Me and Duy are like two opposite extremes. I am from the South, Duy is from the North. I am 41 years old, and Duy is only 21 years old. I am the one who speaks little and thinks a lot, but Duy is the one who talks a lot and thinks little. Throughout the journey, if Duy were not there, it would be very sad. I feel happy and appreciated for finding a companion to compensate for myself like that".

Every day, Tuan Tu and Xuan Duy wake up at 6am and depart at 7am. Every 2-3 hours, the two would stop and rest along the way. To avoid danger in the evening, the two only walk until 5pm to 6am to find a place to sleep. On average, Tuan Tu and Xuan Duy travel 20km per day.

On the way, both encountered many difficulties, especially in terms of weather. After a difficult, arduous, and physically challenging walking journey, the couple never thought about giving up.

Tuan Tu shared: "I have never thought about giving up. Because I have decided to do something, I have to do it. Difficulties only make me physically tired, but mentally very happy. In addition to seeing beautiful scenery, I came into contact with many easy-to-love and enthusiastic people. I must be really impressed by the hospitality of the Vietnamese people and I cherish that".

Currently, Tuan Tu and Xuan Duy are walking to Ninh Binh, and will have to travel more than 100km to Hanoi. Both were excited and eager to join in the bustling, bustling atmosphere of the country's big festival.
