But their love affair soon takes off when Gil Goo discovers that baker Seon Ji has turned into a demon every night. To keep it a secret, Seon Ji's father asked Gil Goo to work part-time as a security guard at night.
The work marks YoonA's reunion with director Lee Sang Geun, after the success of the film "Exit" (Exit in the air, 2019) - the film attracted more than 9.4 million viewers during its run.
According to the director, he spent 3 years working post-production after completing filming in 2022. However, compared to 6 years ago (when Exit was released in theaters), Pretty Crazy was a child that made him unable to hide his excitement, because he was curious about how the audience would receive the work.
According to Lee Sang Geun, the main characters of the film, like the main characters in Exit, are all unemployed people - a detail that he drew from his own life.
For a creator, exploiting ones own experience is the easiest and most comfortable way to build a character. I have been unemployed for a long time, an ambitious director, so it is natural for me to convey my past to these characters.
For YoonA, the role of Seon Ji that she plays this time is the most dynamic character she has ever transformed into. This is also the reason why the SNSD member tries to change her appearance and voice, aiming to portray a bold and energetic character.
