On the evening of June 23, social networks spread a video recording the moment DPR Ian - a Korean artist emerging in Asia - appeared at a restaurant on Phan Boi Chau Street, Hoan Kiem District (Hanoi).
In the shared video, the male rapper happily took photos with the staff and enjoyed many traditional Vietnamese dishes. His surprise appearance made many music and food lovers excited.

Talking to Lao Dong, Ms. Pham Thi Bich Hanh - restaurant owner - said that the group of 6 international guests arrived at around 5pm, without any notice.
"We serve like usual, not knowing that it was a celebrity until the clip was sent by the friends. When they arrived, the restaurant was quite crowded but no one paid attention because the group was very polite and reserved, Ms. Hanh shared.
The meal lasted about an hour, with a rich menu of nearly 20 dishes.
Notably, the group of artists chose many typical dishes of Hanoi cuisine such as fish cakes, vermicelli with red wine, bun oc, banh cuon, dried beef salad... and other dishes such as crab soup, grilled nem banh, cak cha mat, especially banh xeo.

According to Ms. Hanh, banh xeo is the dish that the group of artists expressed their most love for in the meal.
The cake is poured thinly and crispy, filling with shrimp, meat and stir-fried pork floss, served with spicy mustard greens. Diners roll the cake with vegetables and dipping in sweet and sour fish sauce, creating a balance between fatty, crispy and refreshing flavor. Each portion of the cake costs about 175,000 VND, enough for 2 to 3 people to have a snack.
In addition, Hanoi fish cakes made from fresh catfish also leave an impression on foreign guests. Although shrimp paste is a spice that makes many foreign diners afraid, according to the restaurant owner, the Korean artists are very excited to eat it.
They dont ask for anything special, they are very gentle and friendly. DPR Ian also proactively invited a friend of the restaurant's staff to take a photo together. All the photos were taken by his crew. Only when the clip was shared did we see such a great spread, Ms. Hanh added.
The total cost of the group's meal was 2.89 million VND. The restaurant still maintains the principle of professional service, not arbitrarily filming or revealing customer information, even when welcoming national heads of state or international artists.

This restaurant has been honored by Michelin Guide in the Michelin Selected category for many years. The menu here is built with more than 200 Vietnamese dishes, from traditional to modern variations.
Ingredients are carefully selected, saying no to frozen foods containing preservatives. Prices range from 60,000 to 500,000 VND/ items, suitable for many domestic and foreign customers.
