Nguyen Hue Flower Street Tet 2025 will open to serve the spring travel needs of Ho Chi Minh City residents and tourists from January 27 to February 2.

On January 7, Mr. Truong Duc Hung - General Director of Saigon Tourist Group said that Nguyen Hue Flower Street for Tet At Ty will open from 7pm on January 27 (28th of Tet) to 9pm on February 2 (5th of Tet). This year's Tet Flower Street uses a large amount of flower beds, estimated to total 109,000 flower baskets of all kinds. Construction time will take place from January 9 to January 27.

Nguyen Hue Flower Street is considered a cultural symbol of Tet in Ho Chi Minh City. This unique project is organized and implemented by Saigon Tourist Group in coordination with departments, agencies and businesses, under the direction of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

Nguyen Hue Flower Street for the Year of the Snake 2025 is divided into three segments: "unity", "transformation" and "development". In order to convey the message of celebrating the new year, opening the important events of 2025, the area of President Ho Chi Minh's statue is designed to be solemn, meaningful, majestic and warm.

The grand opening of Nguyen Hue Flower Street on the occasion of Tet this year creates a "dance of unity" like a resounding triumphal song, majestic, heroic, firmly advancing towards a new era for the homeland of Vietnam, "The country is a land of brocade and flowers, enjoying a peaceful spring".

The Kim Ty and Ngan Ty couple at the gate of Nguyen Hue flower street 2025 is an impressive return in appearance, size and manufacturing compared to the Quy Ty couple 2013.

The female Ngan Ty is 25 m long and the male Kim Ty is 42 m long, with its entire body winding in 3 intertwined circles, forming a base more than 11 m wide, with a height from the part of the body adjacent to the flower base to the top of the head of over 6 m.

70% of the materials used to make Kim Ty and Ngan Ty are environmentally friendly. The snake's head and belly are covered with painted pressed bamboo panels, and the entire upper back is covered with reflective mica scales, creating a shimmering effect. The total number of scales on the body of Ngan Ty is about 2,700 pieces and Kim Ty is nearly 3,600 pieces, hand-attached with LED lights running along both sides of the belly.

The snake eyes are also a highlight compared to 2013 with a diameter of 10 cm, painted according to the design. The bamboo bushes behind the pair Ngan Ty - Kim Ty are also environmentally friendly creations, with bamboo trunks 2.5-12 m high made of bamboo and rattan covered on the outside of the round steel box.

Lady Ty is modeled after the shape of a king cobra with its head raised high, its entire body covered in green, more than 50 meters long and more than 10 meters high. The head is made of foam, soft mesh, steel and mosquito net.

The body of Lady Ty is shaped from nearly 3,000 painted foam scales, bent into two rings, the largest of which has a diameter of nearly 9 meters and a height of more than 10 meters.

The large-scale scene helps visitors feel more clearly the art of crafting and shaping outside and inside the scene. This year's flower street has about 90 Ty mascots depicted with diverse shades and shapes, most of which are concentrated behind the flower street's entrance gate.
