On December 8, on her personal Facebook page, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - posted a series of photos in Muong Long (Ky Son district) with an article describing the beauty of "cloud hunting season", calling this a "forgotten paradise" of the West Nghe An region.

In the post, Ms. Hanh shared her feelings about Muong Long in the early hours "the clouds are not only in the sky but gently fall down, embracing the entire hills and villages", and suggested that tourists "try to escape to Muong Long once" to find peace.
The series of accompanying photos record the sea of clouds, mountains and islets, valleys in the countryside and brilliant flower space - characteristics of the tourist destination considered one of the places with the coolest climate and most beautiful scenery in the West of Nghe An.

On December 9, speaking with reporters, Director of Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Thi My Hanh confirmed the content of the post and said: "Muong Long is a wonderful tourist destination but not widely known. Therefore, I want to contribute to spreading information about an attractive destination in Nghe An through social networks, so that domestic and international tourists know, come and explore, enjoy, and contribute to spreading the cultural values - tourism of Nghe An homeland".

According to Nghe An tourism industry, Muong Long is becoming an attractive destination, especially during the cloud hunting season from the end of the year to early spring. The sharing of personal experiences by heads of the provincial culture, sports and tourism sector on social networks is expected to contribute to promoting the image and attracting more tourists to the highlands.
Currently, the locality is orienting the development of Muong Long according to the ecotourism model, resorts and exploring indigenous culture, associated with the Mong community in the Ky Son area.
