Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc was born in 2001 in Can Tho, and won the title of 1st Runner-up of Miss World Vietnam 2022 before leaving for Miss Intercontinental 2022. At the contest held in Egypt, she was crowned and became the first Vietnamese to win the crown in the more than 50-year history of this playground, and also received the title of Miss Intercontinental Asia - Oceania.
This achievement is considered an important stepping stone, proving the international stage courage of the Vietnamese representative before coming to Miss World.
In addition to the international title, her academic background is one of the reasons why Bao Ngoc is considered suitable for the "intellectness and compassion" criteria of Miss World.
She graduated with honors in Business Administration, a joint program between the International University (Ho Chi Minh City National University) and a university in the UK, in the context of simultaneously taking on many community activities and international projects.
Previously, the beauty attracted attention when she owned an IELTS 8.0 certificate.

Miss World is a contest that always puts a lot of emphasis on communication skills, thinking and the story behind each contestant. In that painting, a representative of Vietnam who speaks fluent English, has a clear learning foundation, and is familiar with the international environment like Bao Ngoc is considered the "real taste" of this beauty arena. Her academic and foreign language background helps her confidently present, debate and spread the message without having to depend too much on the interpreter.
The biggest highlight in Bao Ngoc's luggage to Miss World is the community project on climate change and the environment. Through the Gen Zero project and a series of activities such as Vietnam Green Day 2025, she called on young people to take action for the climate, encourage a sustainable lifestyle, reduce waste and raise awareness of protecting the planet.
On the eve of the 73rd Miss World, the Miss World organization posted an article about Bao Ngoc and the climate project on the official website and fanpage, introducing her as a typical face for the image of "beauty for noble purposes".
The project's prominence on the media channels of the organizing committee is considered a positive signal, showing that the story that the Vietnamese beauty is pursuing is in line with the "Beauty with a Purpose" orientation that Miss World promotes.
Not only stopping at environmental activities, Bao Ngoc also regularly appears in programs aimed at young people and the value of a beautiful life. At the "Beautiful Youth" gala in 2025, she shared the story of climate change, emphasizing that young people do not stop at awareness but need to take action to protect the living environment.
Bao Ngoc's journey to Miss World also has an individual inspirational element. Having been frustrated for being over 1.85 m tall, she spent many years learning to love herself and turned what was once a lack of self-respect into an advantage on the beauty stage.
That story helped the beauty receive sympathy from the audience.
However, what makes fans worried is that Bao Ngoc's beauty is not suitable for Miss World. Moreover, in 2025, the representative of Thailand, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, was crowned. The rise of a beauty from Southeast Asia in this beauty pageant also made many audiences worried about Bao Ngoc because Miss World took contestants by region. Therefore, in 2026, it is likely that the crown will belong to the representative of another region.
