By winning Miss International (ranked 3rd out of 6 most prestigious beauty contests in the world), Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy helped Vietnam rise from 41st to 33rd place, up 8 places on the beauty rankings of the international website All for the crowns.
In mid-November, Thanh Thuy surprised the Vietnamese beauty community when she won the Miss International title. Thanh Thuy, born in 2002, was crowned Miss Vietnam 2022.
In 2024, after many times Vietnam's representatives were not lucky enough to achieve high rankings in beauty contests, Thanh Thuy's victory at the third most prestigious contest in the world made the fan community excited.
Talking about her victory in the international competition, Thanh Thuy said that the company prepared her carefully for the international competition: “I focused on performing well in everything to shine in the competitions. The more difficult the competition is, the more ambitious I am to achieve the highest goal.”
Accordingly, Thanh Thuy affirmed that to get good results in international beauty contests, each contestant must have investment and careful preparation, and at the same time the management company must have a clear strategy.
“I learned a lot of skills before taking the exam. I learned about presentation skills, interview skills, and behavior from expert instructors. The person who taught me how to behave was MC Tan Tai. In addition, I spent two hours every day practicing according to specific instructions such as honing my voice, practicing reflex skills, and forming my thinking through exercises from direct to homework. This process helped me to have maturity in thinking and demeanor.
In addition, I focused on learning English. While studying at the center, I also received additional communication skills lessons from Miss Luong Thuy Linh" - Thanh Thuy shared.
At the end of November, contestant Tuan Ngoc of Vietnam won the first runner-up prize of Mr.World - a beauty contest for men.
Tuan Ngoc said he also has to maintain a strict physical training schedule, from 2-3 hours/day, divided into two sessions. He focuses on strength exercises such as squats, deadlifts and bench presses to increase muscle, combined with cardio such as jogging and HIIT to maintain body shape.
Regarding diet, Tuan Ngoc prioritizes clean, natural foods rich in protein such as chicken, salmon, eggs and vegetables. He divides his meals into 5-6 meals a day to ensure his body has enough energy and nutrients.
Before each international beauty contest, contestants must concentrate on following a fitness schedule, eating a scientific diet, practicing their thinking, behavior, demeanor, and English.
Beauty Bui Khanh Linh left for Egypt to compete in Miss Intercontinental at a time when two Vietnamese representatives achieved high results in Miss International and Mister World. Bui Khanh Linh finally won the 3rd runner-up position at Miss Intercontinental.
Bui Khanh Linh shared that she went to Egypt with more than 20 pieces of luggage, trying to score points to continue the series of achievements for Vietnamese beauty.
Before that, Bui Khanh Linh spent many months practicing her body and figure, preparing elaborate costumes, and at the same time focusing on learning English, improving her communication and behavior skills in English to be the most confident when appearing in front of international friends.
Bui Khanh Linh said she tried to study English 6 hours a day.
