Social networks have recently been stirred up by a foreign tourist's reflection on the uncomfortable experience at a hotel in Sa Pa (Lao Cai), related to the noisy behavior of a Vietnamese TikToker.
The incident started with a post by account today Todaycia D. J. B., after staying at a hotel on Muong Hoa Street on July 20.
The Malaysian female tourist shared her frustration at being bothered by a loud noise from the next room late at night.
"I went to Sa Pa and stayed in the room next to him. He and his group of friends caused a stir at 2am! It was thoughtless," the female tourist wrote indignantly.
After that, the female tourist said she had to leave the room to see what was happening. "Their doors were wide open, but they didn't notice I was standing outside, so I rang the bell and asked them to keep quiet," todaycia said.
Notably, a hotel employee later told the tourist that the person causing the scandal was a "influenced" person - an influencer on social media.

Netizens immediately found the identity of the TikToker mentioned, and identified the character named Hoang Cuu Bao - a TikToker known for his strange fashion style, with more than 570,000 followers.
After the incident went viral, on the morning of July 24, Hoang Cuu Bao posted an apology on his personal page. In it, he admitted his mistake, thinking that because he was too greedy and irresponsible, he had accidentally harassed others.
He wrote: "I sincerely apologize to everyone and especially apologize to the family of the guest who was affected by me a lot."
However, shortly after the apology, Huang Zuu Bao continued to post another video with a joking tone. This action quickly faced fierce criticism from the online community, many people thought that he did not sincerely apologize.
Responding to the widespread wave of criticism, many netizens shifted their criticism towards the hotel because they thought that there was no appropriate way to handle the above case.
Sharing with Lao Dong, the hotel representative confirmed that they did not comment on the incident to ensure the identity of all guests.
"We do not share any information related to customers," this person said and affirmed that the hotel always puts the experience of tourists first.
In the post update, female tourist Todaycia spoke up to clarify her point of view, affirming that the hotel is not related and does not deserve criticism.
She shared: "The hotel is a great place to stay. The staff is very kind and always ready to help. We did not report the incident to them, just simply asked the name of the person causing the noise."
At the same time, she also affirmed that the travel experience in Vietnam is still very wonderful, and this incident did not change the image of the country and people here in her eyes.
