On the evening of June 2, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang in collaboration with Emirates Airlines held the opening ceremony of the new Dubai - Da Nang route with a frequency of 4 flights/week, marking an important development step in connecting Da Nang with the airline's global flight network.
At the International arrival Station - Da Nang International Airport, flights from Dubai to Da Nang immediately after landing were welcomed by a dragon spraying ceremony. Passengers enjoyed the national art performance, were given flowers and souvenirs as a warm greeting, expressing hospitality and contributing to promoting the image of Da Nang - a safe, friendly and attractive destination.
The first flight with flight number EK370 landed at Da Nang International Airport at 7:50 p.m., using a Boeing 777 with 333 international passengers. This is the third destination in Vietnam after Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi exploited by Emirates, helping to expand opportunities for trade development, tourism and cultural exchange for Da Nang.
According to Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, in order to be ready to welcome visitors from the Middle East and new markets with high spending, the Department has coordinated with relevant units to prepare to complete facilities, improve service quality, organize specialized training, training on cultural guidelines, customs and service processes suitable for specific markets, including the Middle East tourist market.
Da Nang tourism industry will deploy connections to support tourism businesses to connect and exchange tourists, develop international markets through this route to promote two-way growth in the number of tourists, towards exploiting the route sustainably and effectively, said Ms. Hanh.
