In July 2025, the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee issued a Plan to implement the Central's conclusions on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country.
The plan aims to raise awareness, ideology and action in the entire Party Committee and political system about the position and role of Khanh Hoa culture and people in the cause of rapid and sustainable development of the locality.
Culture is identified as a solid spiritual foundation, endogenous resources and an important driving force for the development of the province in the new era.
Accordingly, the province will implement 5 key groups of tasks and solutions: Innovation in leadership and direction; perfecting institutions and policies on culture and people.
Promote socialization, promote the role of the People, businesses and socio-political organizations in cultural development.
Develop human resources, perfect policies in the cultural field.
Strengthen information and propaganda, promote international cooperation in culture.
Mobilize and effectively use resources, strive for a higher budget expenditure for culture than the national average.
Notably, the Provincial Party Standing Committee assigned the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee to preside over the proposal of breakthrough mechanisms and policies.
Including amending and supplementing policies on priority, promotion, and treatment of talents in the fields of performing arts and cultural heritage; attracting, training, and fostering artists.
Khanh Hoa province will prioritize investment in large-scale cultural institution projects such as museums and theaters in the coming time.
