“Dear Hyeri” is the first project that Lee Jin Wook and Shin Hye Sun collaborated on. However, the Korean actor is confident because the two act well together.

“Dear Hyeri” is a healing romance drama revolving around Joo Eun Ho (Shin Hye Sun), an announcer who suffers from dissociative identity disorder after her sister goes missing and breaks up with her longtime boyfriend Hyun Oh (Lee Jin Wook).

As Jung Hyun Oh, Lee Jin Wook plays a talented and charming announcer. Together with Shin Hye Sun, he will portray the "chemistry" of an ex-couple who broke up after 8 years of dating.

Revealing the reason for accepting the project, the Korean actor said: “I was excited to participate after knowing that Shin Hye Sun - the actress I wanted to collaborate with - was chosen. I also hope to reunite with director Jung Ji Hyun - who I worked with in the TV series “Nine: Nine Times Time Travel”.

The script is very interesting. The complex relationships between the characters bring a new and fresh feeling. I talked to the announcers to learn about their experiences and gather tips for my role. I believe viewers can look forward to my role this time.”

At the same time, the actor emphasized his acting chemistry with Shin Hye Sun. “I already knew she was a great actress, but I was even more impressed while filming. I put a lot of effort into capturing the connection between Eun Ho and Hyun Oh.

“I also spent a lot of time discussing with Shin Hye Sun how to best portray their years together and their story. We often joked, talked, and developed our characters together. I am very excited to see the comfort of a long-time couple portrayed on screen.”

According to Lee Jin Wook, “Dear Hyeri” is a drama that encourages viewers to think about happiness. He himself hopes that the moments of love and separation in the past between Eun Ho and Hyun Oh will impress those who have experienced love, and at the same time give them the opportunity to reminisce about past experiences.

“Dear Hyeri” is scheduled to air on the evening of September 23.
