On the evening of December 22, the historical drama "The Nine Heavy Sons" ended with a happy ending for the couple Dou Zhao (Meng Ziyi) and Song Mo (Li Junrui).
Along with that, the film achieved enough advertising after 34 episodes, ranking 9th in the commercial rankings (only counting films with enough advertising) on the Tencent platform this year.
In his latest sharing with the media, Ly Quan Nhue excitedly hopes to collaborate on screen for the third time with Manh Tu Nghia, after "Tay Xuat Ngoc Mon" and "Cuu Trong Tu".
The actor still wants to play a married couple with his senior, however, he hopes the next film will follow the "love-hate" motif like the action comedy "Mr. and Mrs. Smith".
According to Ly Quan Nhue, like Dau Chieu, Manh Tu Nghia is beautiful and intelligent, but in real life, she is more lively than her character. On set, just seeing his co-star makes him laugh.
"Ms. Tu Nghia is someone who can bring others a lot of joy and can also make me laugh. When she tells stories, she is both lively and cute. Her voice and the way she expresses her movements also attract others" - the male star said.
The actress was also the one who taught him to change from an "introvert" to an "extrovert". From being shy at first, Ly Quan Nhue now even knows how to tease everyone in the film crew.
However, because they were so close, when they had to act out intimate scenes, both of them encountered many difficulties. Ly Quan Nhue revealed that the reason "Cuu Trong Tu" had many kissing scenes was because the director added them.
"In just the last few days of the project, I had to film nearly 10 kissing scenes. In fact, the director added the kissing scenes when the two characters were deeply in love, but the script didn't have that many," he said.
Regarding the scene that impressed him the most in "Nine Deadly Sons", Ly Quan Nhue chose the scene where Dau Chieu and Tong Mac were shot through with arrows. The actor said that even though there was only one scene, Manh Tu Nghia cried 3 times.
