In the second half of this month, Korean screens will have 7 new works released.
Besides the two healing films “What Comes After Love” and “Dear Hyeri”, the fantasy films “The Judge From Hell” and “Iron Family” are also in the top films worth watching as voted by Soompi.
Accordingly, "The Judge from Hell" revolves around the story of Kang Bit Na (Park Shin Hye) - a devil from hell who enters the body of a judge.
Bit Na's encounter with Han Da On (Kim Jae Young), a warm-hearted and passionate police officer who always puts the interests of her victims first, will help her learn empathy and compassion to become a true judge.
In her colorful new role, the actress was praised by the production team for making major changes in her acting and style to bring the character of Kang Bit Na to life. She even took on difficult action scenes herself on set.

Park Shin Hye herself also said that when transforming into 2 versions of Kang Bit Na, she tried her best not to cry.
“In my previous roles, the characters always tried to overcome difficulties alone. But with Kang Bit Na, everything revolved around revenge, reflecting the attitude and I tried to express that.
Regarding image, I use many makeup styles as well as colorful outfits to change my daily appearance. I also carefully consider changes in speech and eyes to match Bit Na's personality."
According to the media, although Park Shin Hye is modest when talking about her efforts, the audience has high expectations for the 9X star's new and bold performance in the new work.
Partly because before that, she always chose roles that were similar in personality and family background, and partly because her most recent comeback with the movie "The Doctor's Low Point" with Park Hyung Sik was less popular.
With “The Judge From Hell,” the film will premiere on the evening of September 21. A week later (the evening of September 28), the black comedy “Iron Family” starring her husband, Choi Tae Joon, will also air.
The story revolves around the Cheongnyeom laundry family and their youngest daughter Lee Da Rim (Geum Sae Rok) - who suffers from a disease that limits her vision - as she reunites with Seo Kang Joo (Kim Jung Hyun) - her college friend.
Taking on the role of Cha Tae Woong - a part-time employee at Cheongryeom, and also having feelings for Lee Cha Rim (Yang Hye Ji) - Da Rim's older sister, Choi Tae Joon is revealed to have many interesting but equally emotional scenes, as he comes from an orphan background.

Regarding his character, the actor said: “Tae Woong is a charming but complicated person. He has gone through many things that I personally don’t have much connection with. I can’t say too much because it might spoil the content of the film, but I can confidently say that I have grown a lot while playing this role.”
Choi Tae Joon also said that acting with Geum Sae Rok and Yang Hye Ji made it easier for him to become emotional naturally. “I felt like I had two younger siblings when I played Tae Woong, and I really liked that.”
The fact that Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon's films aired at the same time is considered an implicit competition between the couple. In terms of content and reputation, the actress's works receive more attention than her husband's.
However, “Iron Family” has the advantage that KBS2’s weekend dramas often have high viewership ratings, as “makjang” dramas (dramatic, exaggerated content to the point of absurdity and fantasy) are still watched by many housewives.
But who wins, we still have to wait for the movie to be released, then the audience will have the answer.
