On the morning of November 27, the Propaganda Department of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications and the Ha Tinh Journalists Association to hold a press conference to promote activities commemorating the 300th anniversary of the birth of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac and the press conference in November 2024.
At the press conference, Mr. Tran Xuan Luong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh province informed that on November 26, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signed the decision to rank 6 national special relics nationwide. Among them, the Le Huu Trac Tomb and Memorial Site in Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province, was ranked as a special national relic.
According to the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh, being ranked as a special national relic on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of Hai Thuong Lan Ong's birth (1724 - 2024) will increase the significance of the relic.
From here, a new milestone is opened in the journey of preserving and promoting the heritage values of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac in his homeland of Ha Tinh and the whole country; contributing to making the Grand Ceremony to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth and honor of the Great Physician held at the end of December 2024 even more successful.
Ha Tinh province coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to prepare for the organization of an exhibition on the Heritage of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac at the Ha Tinh Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center in Ha Tinh City.
The Organizing Committee is also developing a script for a special Art Program to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth and honor the great physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong.
The art program is divided into 3 chapters: Medical career opportunities; Career commitment; A kite's boundless sky.
In preparation for the solemn celebration, the Project to Restore and Renovate the Tomb and Monument of Hai Thuong Lan Ong in Huong Son District is also being accelerated, striving to complete before December 20, 2024.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Luong also informed that, according to plan, at the 300th Anniversary of the Birth and Honor of Great Physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong held in Ha Tinh city at the end of December 2024, there will be a fireworks display with 500 high-altitude fireworks and 90 low-altitude fireworks.
