NewJeans sends sincere words to fans after leaving ADOR and HYBE

NewJeans members leave messages for fans after they announced their departure from ADOR and HYBE.

On November 29 (Korean time), NewJeans members shared heartfelt messages to fans on their community platform, Phoning, following the announcement of the termination of their exclusive contracts with ADOR and HYBE.

Member Minji wrote: "Bunnies (official fandom name), you guys worked hard today. This is just the beginning for us. Even if we can't meet on Phoning anymore, don't worry too much - we'll find a way to come back soon."

Hyein said, "Starting tomorrow, we may not be able to connect on Phoning. Please don't worry, we will find other ways to communicate. Let's get through this difficult time together, Bunnies."

"We did everything we could. Consider this a short break. When we come back, we will surprise everyone again," Hanni added.

Danielle and Haerin also expressed their gratitude and love for their fans: "Bunnies, thank you. We love you. We are truly grateful."

These shares come after NewJeans' press conference on November 28 in Gangnam, Seoul, where they announced that their exclusive contract with ADOR will end at midnight on November 29.

"Terminating the contract means that the exclusivity agreement is no longer in effect, so there is nothing to hinder our operations. We can continue our operations stably...", NewJeans explained.

They also stated: "We did not breach the contract, always trying our best in our activities. We do not see any reason to pay any fine. This situation arose because ADOR and HYBE breached the contract, they must take responsibility."

In response, ADOR argued: "ADOR did not breach the contract. We simply stated that trust was broken. That is not a valid reason to terminate the contract. The exclusive contract remains in effect."
