Many are interested in what happens next in the ongoing legal dispute between the members of girl group NewJeans and their management company.
According to media reports, NewJeans has more or less ended all scheduled activities with ADOR after they attended the "39th Golden Disc Awards" on January 4, Korean time.
Members still have some advertising related schedules to complete, after which no other activities are scheduled.
Previously, in a press conference held in November last year, NewJeans announced the termination of its exclusive contract with ADOR, citing that ADOR failed to fulfill its contractual obligations.
The members then stated, "We will continue to participate in all previously scheduled activities with ADOR." The group also emphasized that they are no longer artists under ADOR.
Since then, the members have begun to pursue independent activities, notably through the Instagram account @jeanzforfree as well as through interviews.
So far, many people want to know what will happen to the group name "NewJeans" and whether member Hanni will be able to renew her E-6 visa for foreign individuals in the cultural and artistic industry before it expires in early 2025. Because before that, ADOR announced that Hanni of NewJeans is still under the management of this company and they are in the process of renewing her visa.
