At the age of U60, artist Kieu Oanh chose a quiet, private life. The female artist rarely shares about her family and married life.
However, with information related to leaving assets to her children, she has responded.
Responding to reporters, the female artist said: "I don't force my children to follow my career. The only thing I require is: to go to university, have a job to support myself. After that, I would respect anything from music, art, or business.
I share with my children about money very clearly. I said: I only have this ability, I will spend a fixed part of it on my child's education, that is the amount that cannot be touched. If you want to study abroad or follow more expensive programs, you have to try to win a scholarship and share your responsibility with your mother.
The word "asset" that people often say... is very big. For me, "assets" for my children are just a little savings for them to study until they are at their destination, within their abilities. I don't dare to say more."
Regarding her children's orientation in the future, artist Kieu Oanh added: " adults are now 18 years old, they really like music, plus marketing. I also orient that if I have chosen music, I have to have an additional major to support. Luckily, I understand, study willingly, and calculate the long journey with my mother, not " dreaming of a river".
Artist Kieu Oanh is happy because her children listen and have a sense of responsibility. The female artist is busy performing far away and in the provinces, but her children are still independent and do not complain to their mother.
