This year's program has 31 awards to honor producers, film crews, and artists who have made positive contributions to the Vietnamese arts scene and to honor outstanding domestic and foreign films that have had an impact on the media and are loved by audiences in the fields of cinema, television, and cyberspace (web drama).
In the Cinema category, the movie "Mai" helped Tran Thanh receive the Best Film award (voted by the Arts Council).
Tuan Tran and Phuong Anh Dao also won big with many awards.
The main role "Mai" in the film of the same name by director Tran Thanh helped Phuong Anh Dao win the Cinema category with the award for Favorite Actress, Best Actress and Favorite Couple (Tuan Tran and Phuong Anh Dao - film Mai).
In the Cinema category, Tuan Tran was named for Best Actor (as Trung Duong in the movie Mai), Most Favorite Actor (as Lanh, in the movie Getting Rich with Ghosts) and Most Favorite Couple.
This year, Ly Hai's "Flip Side 7" did not compete for awards even though the film previously earned over 481 billion VND in revenue.
