On May 13, at Phu Thai Station (Kim Thanh District, Hai Duong Province) and Hai Duong Station, the bustling atmosphere spread. A large number of people, from young people, workers, students to retired cadres, eagerly boarded a boat to Hai Phong to attend the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day and the opening of the Phuong Do Flower Festival.
This is one of the major cultural events of Hai Phong City, attracting the attention of people everywhere. Many people experienced the feeling of taking a train to the port city for the first time in the festive atmosphere. Everyone's face was filled with joy and excitement.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai, a retired teacher in Hai Duong City, shared: I have been to Hai Phong many times, but this is the first time I have taken the train to attend the Red Phuong Flower Festival. Hearing that there were parades, art performances, fireworks... so my sister and I in the Association of Elderly People decided to go out together for fun.

Not only the elderly, but also the young are equally excited. Nguyen Minh Quan, a student at Hai Duong University, said: "We knew the information in advance so we invited each other to join the group. Taking the train is both economical and crowded, and you can immerse yourself in the vibrant festive atmosphere.
Notably, during the trip, there were also familiar faces with the land of Hai Phong from many years ago. Ms. Tran Thi Nhung (76 years old, Thanh Binh ward, Hai Duong city) used to work at a bank in Thuy Nguyen city (Hai Phong) from 1975 to 1980.

Returning after nearly half a century, she emotionally shared: "Thuy Nguyen has changed a lot now! The roads are spacious, the houses are spacious, the streets are much busier than before. I am proud to be able to return to the place I was once attached to in the bustling atmosphere of the Red Phuong Flower Festival.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong (72 years old, Binh Han ward, Hai Duong city) took this opportunity to visit her old classmate in Hai Phong. "Seeing the festival and meeting old friends again - the indescribable feeling of excitement. I didn't expect that I would be able to take the train and go to clubs when I was old, and the emotions would be like when I was young," Ms. Phuong said with a smile.

Not only a trip, for many Hai Duong people, this trip to Hai Phong is an opportunity to connect memories, meet friends, and expand cultural exchanges. The railway industry has also carefully prepared, increased support services, ensured timely and safe trains, and created the best conditions for people to attend the festival.
The 2025 Red Phuong Flower Festival in Hai Phong is a brilliant highlight of the summer, not only honoring the beauty of the city of royal poinciana flowers but also leaving a good impression in the hearts of Hai Duong people - those who are close neighbors, always ready to accompany in cultural activities, tourism and developing the key economic region of the North.
