The musician "Continuing the Story of Peace" transforms into Mr. Manh - a successful and powerful tycoon. In the scene, Mr. Manh praises the script of the female lead named Ngoc (Miss Tran Tieu Vy).
Musician Nguyen Van Chung's acting in this short scene surprised the audience. He acts with his eyes, and his way of speaking is slow. The musician shows the power and aura of a character who intends to be dark before Ngoc's (Tran Tieu Vy) beauty.
Mr. Manh (Nguyen Van Chung) even praised Ngoc (Tieu Vy) in the movie: "I really like the script you wrote. Deep, just like you, beautiful, young and deep women". Meanwhile, Ngoc shyly called Mr. Manh "uncle".
Sharing with Lao Dong reporters about the scene acting together with Quoc Truong and Tieu Vy, musician Nguyen Van Chung said: "The first time participating in acting with Quoc Truong and Tieu Vy, I felt very nervous. Especially when Quoc Truong played the role very quickly.
I was afraid that if I didn't do well, I would both waste the crew's time and lose the "mood" (spirit) of my co-star. But when I entered the set (scene), Quoc Truong guided and supported me to act very quickly.
The author of many billion-view hits felt excited when he first entered cinema when he transformed into a human being, experiencing a life very different from himself in real life.
Regarding the fate of transforming into the character "Mr. Manh", musician Nguyen Van Chung shared that he had the opportunity to meet director Dinh Tuan Vu about a year ago during an exchange about the soundtrack.
In that meeting, the director realized that he had a figure and demeanor suitable for the character image he was looking for, so he offered to invite him to audition.
However, musician Nguyen Van Chung affirmed that he has no intention of pursuing long-term cinema.
For him, this film debut is a memorable experience: "I think that if you want to work professionally and meticulously, you need to be well-trained, as well as be truly serious about the path you choose," he said.
Nguyen Van Chung, born in 1983, is a prominent musician of contemporary Vietnamese music with many familiar songs such as "Nhat ky cua me", "Chiec khan gio am", "Mua dong khong lanh" and "Em luon o dem tri anh".
