On December 9, at the press conference to announce the 2026 Da Nang New Year Festival - Danang New Year Festival 2026 organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, the film crew of "Nha minh Di Thoi" officially released to the audience.
The film "Nha minh di Thoi" is introduced as a pioneering work to bring the image of "New Da Nang" to the big screen, expressing a vision of combining cinema and tourism. The 2026 Tet film chose the story of healing and reunion as its theme throughout, with the expectation of becoming the "Cinematic Heart" of the destination of Da Nang.
The film brings together the cast: Uyen An, People's Artist Kim Xuan, People's Artist Hong Van, People's Artist Hoang Son, Doan The Vinh, Michelle Lai, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Quynh, Meritorious Artist Huu Chau... The project is directed by Tran Dinh Hien - a son of Da Nang, and produced by Luong Trung Tin.
The film crew has meticulously recreated the traditional festival atmosphere at the location bearing the cultural imprint of the Central region such as Nam O Village (famous for its traditional fish sauce making), or the rusticity and simplicity of the houses from the ancient road, along with the impressive beauty of Tien Sa Beach...
In particular, important scenes were filmed at Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An. This context represents the need to seek private, isolated space so that family members can truly face, understand and reconnect emotions in the busy pace of life.
Sharing about the reason for accepting to participate in the film project "Nha minh di Thoi", actress Uyen An said that she was convinced not only by the script but also by the spirit that the film wanted to convey.
For this project, I accept not only because of the story in the script but also because of the spirit that the film carries. The film hopes to spread the tourism culture and image of Da Nang city - something I feel very meaningful about. I am a person who loves Da Nang very much. I feel many wonderful things from this city: tourist destinations, delicious food, and the people of Da Nang are extremely lovely," the actress shared.
Sharing about her participation in the film "Nha minh di Thoi", People's Artist Hong Van said that when hearing the news that the film was filmed in Da Nang and Hoi An, everyone was very excited because they could both work and travel.
"The film takes away all the best and most quintessence of these two places. In addition to beautiful scenery, the content also talks about the people of Da Nang. When watching, the audience not only get to see one of the most livable cities but also understand more about the people here" - People's Artist shared.
As a child of Da Nang, Director Tran Dinh Hien said: "I want to use cinema to tell the simplest, gentlest story about the Central region, and at the same time introduce "New Da Nang" as a destination for human emotions, tourism and cinema".
At the event, the film crew also announced the filmmaking orientation of combining destinations, creating resonant value for the community and developing local tourism. The appearance of child actor Quang Hai - a young talent of Da Nang along with typical regional factors, shows serious investment in local identity.
