For Lee Joon Hyuk, enduring difficulties is what gives him joy in acting.

Lee Joon Hyuk was born in 1984, debuted in the Korean entertainment industry in January 2006 when appearing in the MV of the group Typhoon. A year later, his acting career began with a role in When Housewives Are in action.

He later gained attention when he appeared in films The Secret Forest, The President of 60 Days, Siege: No way out, Curning, Fire God and most recently Love Scout.

After nearly 2 decades of acting, Lee Joon Hyuk has gone through many difficulties, but is also filled with joy and memories.

He shared: Looking at the picture in general, enduring difficulties is what brings me joy. Going through challenges is basically all life is about.

In the end, most films tell stories about that. That is also the reason why I like movies - because they show us how to endure difficulties.

At the age of 41, in addition to being able to participate in interesting works, to help the audience always see a new Lee Joon Hyuk on screen, the actor also expressed his desire to support young actors in the future.

I think I have fully enjoyed the playground that the seniors have built for me. Taking photos like today and working in different projects has given me a lot of joy.

Therefore, when it comes time for me to become that playground for my seniors, I will happily step into the role of a supporter. I have lived this way for nearly 18 years, so I am not afraid of that.

Lee Joon Hyuk is currently filming The Art of Sarah with Shin Hye Sun. The work is expected to air in 2026.
