The Vietnam Center for the Conservation of Traditional Performing Arts is a member unit of the Association for the Protection of the Rights of Vietnamese Music Performing Artists (APPA) chaired by People's Artist Thanh Hoa.
At the age of 75, People's Artist Thanh Hoa is still working hard with many concerns and worries about traditional arts.
Talking to Lao Dong reporter about the Vietnam Traditional Performing Arts Conservation Center, People's Artist Thanh Hoa said that the establishment of the center has been a concern for her for a long time.
Vietnam has many artistic quintessence, recognized by the world as an intangible cultural heritage. But I feel a little sad because all of Vietnam's intangible cultural heritages seem unconnected and still operate alone.
When I became President of the Association for the Protection of the Rights of Vietnam Music Performing Arts (APPA), I wanted to protect my heritage and spread it to the public. Nowadays, the younger generation understands the Ca Tru, the xoan singing, the Hue folk song, the Hanh tai tai, the Hue Royal and Artistic music, the Bac Ninh family quan Ho, the Thai, Central Highlands, and Central Highlands folk songs... I want to connect those genres and spread them, so that the Vietnamese people understand and appreciate the traditional performing arts of the nation Peoples Artist Thanh Hoa said.

In the context of implementing the strategy of industrializing cultural industries, People's Artist Thanh Hoa believes that this is both an opportunity and a challenge for the performing industry.
As the cultural industry grew stronger, People's Artist Thanh Hoa established the Vietnam Traditional Performing Arts Conservation Center, assigning People's Artist Thanh Ngoan as director.
Many artists hope this will be a place to connect and spread the values of traditional performing arts industries. The center has the participation of many artists living abroad, the beauty of Vietnamese culture more than ever needs the strength and cooperation of the community to step out into the world, reaching a large audience around the world.
For me, artistic culture is not only singing and performing but also expresses the personality and spirit of the Vietnamese people through the ages. It contains educational and beneficial messages. Her mother's precept also teaches "father is like Thai Son mountain, mother is like water in the water flowing out, a generation of worshiping mother worships father, giving the whole act of filial piety is child worship".
Our ancestors have skillfully and delicately conveyed the teachings in each folk song, proverb, and folk melody. The lyrics express the aspiration to live and the lives of Vietnamese people.
I think that is the origin. I am always passionate about folk arts and want to contribute to preserving, conserving, and spreading the beauty of folk arts and traditional folk culture Peoples Artist Thanh Hoa shared.
