In the movie "Gia dinh bat an" she had impressive dance scenes. How did you train?
- Originally a dancer, but for more than 10 years, I have not danced anymore so my body is stiff. To maintain softness and flexibility, artists need to practice dancing for about 2 to 3 hours a day. In the film, I had to perform many different styles, from contemporary dance, ancient dance to Cha-cha-cha and Valse dance.
Cold weather is a big obstacle; every time I wear thin clothes to dance, my body get stiff and stiff. I personally assess that the dance scenes when filming only reach about 70 to 80% compared to the practice process.
The character Anh has scenes of stumbling, screaming... with emotional reactions that are considered "excessive" compared to the age of 45. What do you think?
- To immerse myself in the role, I observed couples in love in real life, people with popular relationships like Mr. Phi and Mrs. Anh. More importantly, I recalled myself at the age of 18 to find the spirit of the role. Luckily, Mr. Hoang Hai and I were given the freedom by the director to express our emotions in advance.
I know for sure that the audience will hate the character. I accepted and anxiously waited for that reaction.
The 18th anniversary that you mentioned is about your weak personality, being pampered to the fullest in a relationship?
- In fact, women often have two types: One is the type of innocent, innocent person, always protected by her husband; the other is the type of independent woman, eager to conquer a career. After completing this film, I looked back at the people I used to love, especially my first love at the age of 18.
When I was 18 years old, a boyfriend 7 years older than me fell in love with me just like Mr. Phi fell in love with Ms. Anh: Whether my wife is right or wrong, my children are weak or weak, no matter what he does, he still loves me. If I had been married at the age of 18, perhaps my life would have been exactly like Mrs. Anh in the film, because my first love was a person I fell in love with.
Returning to reality, not getting married at the age of 18 has brought about any changes in your life?
- Currently, I am not married, so I have to shoulder the burden of life. I have to be more serious, set an example and teach my children, I cannot keep my innocence as before.
However, I am lucky because I can now deal with my son when he is fully aware of the life around him.
Having gone through many ups and downs in life and achieved certain successes in her career, do you think of a happy destination for the future?
- My son always encourages and supports his mother in getting married. However, there are two reasons why I can't get married. First, my criteria for choosing a partner are quite high. Second, my thoughts about choosing my partner are still a bit distant from reality, I myself do not understand and do not fully recognize married life. Although I have lowered the standards to 30, 40%, I still have not found a suitable person.
In real life, if I meet someone who is thoughtful and pampered like Mr. Phi in real life, I will definitely get married.
Although she has not yet found "Mr. Phi", she is having a happy life with her 12-year-old son. Can you share a little about the boy?
- My son and I share many things in life with each other. My method of raising children is to always be by my side, accompany, choose to grow up with them, not force or teach.
At school, my child often introduced his mother as an actress. However, he wanted to have a normal child's life and did not want to appear in the media. When I asked my child to act in an advertisement at the invitation of the brand, he quickly refused.
My son has two things that always make me extremely emotional. First, you absolutely protect your mother's sleep. Second, when I am tired or sick, as soon as I see my mother coughing, my child immediately goes to get water. Once, the child also wrapped the porridge himself, blew it to cool and fertilized it for the mother to eat.
Thank you for the conversation!
