On the afternoon of May 8, within the framework of the 2025 United Nations Vesak Festival, the portrait of Buddha Shakyamuni was solemnly carried from the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Ho Chi Minh City to the top of Ba Den Mountain (Tay Ninh).
This solemn ceremony was attended by about 1,300 international delegates from more than 85 countries and territories such as India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Japan, the US, the UK, ... along with more than 800 domestic delegates, including representatives of ministries, branches, localities and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

The use of the Buddha as the sacred protectorate of India is invited to Vietnam through government-level diplomacy, ensuring strict rituals and security conditions.

On the highest mountain peak in the South, the fabled trees were honored at the Buddhist Exhibition Center from May 8 to 13, open to Buddhists and the public to worship and observe the festival.

On the same day, the 108 Red Pine tree planting ceremony was also held at the Bo De Vien World, with the presence of clerical monks and leaders of international delegations, contributing to spreading the message of peace, compassion and Buddha's intelligence to the global Buddhist community.
