On March 14, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province held the opening ceremony of three exhibitions to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Gia Lai province (March 16). This is part of a series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30) of the province.
At Dai Doan Ket Square (Pleiku City), nearly 150 photos are displayed in the exhibition "The Year is Not far - Gia Lai - Kon Tum in the early years after 1975". These photos realistically depict the lives of the people of Gia Lai - Kon Tum right after the liberation day, when the locality faced many difficulties.
Under the leadership of the Party, the army and people of all ethnic groups in the province have gradually overcome challenges, affirming their position in the land rich in historical traditions.

At the same time, the Provincial Museum also opened a thematic exhibition "Gia Lai 50 years of construction and development" with three main topics: Gia Lai - Cultural colors, Gia Lai in the struggle for national liberation, Gia Lai 50 years of construction and development.
The exhibition aims to review the heroic history of the Gia Lai people in the resistance war against foreign invasion, and at the same time introduce outstanding achievements in economy, culture - society, security - defense after half a century of development.
The Gia Lai Provincial Literature and Arts Association in collaboration with the Provincial Museum organizes an exhibition "50 years of Gia Lai province's literature and art after the country's reunification day". The exhibition introduces typical works of artists in the province, affirming their important contributions to the development of local culture and arts.
