Park Shin Hye Breakthrough

After a series of monotonous roles, Park Shin Hye has a "transformation" with a completely different character image in the new movie.

Born in 1990, Park Shin Hye started acting quite early. She first appeared in the movie "Stairway to Heaven" (2003).

After that, Park Shin Hye continuously appeared in projects such as "Love Notes", "Miracle in Cell No. 7", "The Heirs", "Doctor's Love Story", "Opposite Couple"... and made a certain impression.

However, in recent years, Park Shin Hye's acting in films such as "Memories of the Alhambra", "Sisyphus: The Myth", "The Doctor's Melody" has received mixed reactions. Most audiences believe that the characters she plays do not have much newness or difference compared to previous works.

However, in the currently airing drama - "The Judge from Hell", Park Shin Hye has a big turning point in acting. Although only 4 episodes have been aired, the work with the theme of fantasy romance quickly became a hit.

Opening with a viewership rating of 6.8%, the show quickly reached 9.3% and increased to 9.7% in the 4th episode. According to the media, ignoring the controversy over many violent scenes, the impressive acting of the cast is a big plus for the show.

In the film, Park Shin Hye plays Kang Bit Na - a devil from hell who is possessed by a judge. Known for her brutality, Kang Bit Na is not afraid to carry out harsh justice in her own way, especially with unrepentant murderers.

Sharing with the media, Park Shin Hye said that in her previous roles, the characters always tried to overcome difficulties alone, but with Kang Bit Na everything revolved around revenge, so she focused on portraying the character's attitude and psychology.

"Kang Bit Na is a role that gives me a unique opportunity to explore different sides of my personality. Not just a cold, emotionless devil, Bit Na also has a playful and straightforward side, sometimes quite cute."

My Daily commented that Kang Bit Na is an impressive "transformation" of Park Shin Hye. Her attractive appearance, lively acting, and new expressions in the film are surprising. In particular, the scenes where Bit Na smirks sinisterly, although making viewers "shudder", create a clear color for the character.

Meanwhile, the audience commented that Choi Tae Joon's wife's performance in this project is completely different from the image of a "poor woman overcoming hardship" female lead that she often played before. This is considered a breakthrough role, "saving" Park Shin Hye's career which was affected by a series of previous "flop" projects.
