Tang Thuan Hy and Ly Tham's movies were criticized as soon as they were released

The first 4 episodes of the movie "Seven Nights of Snow" (played by Zeng Shunxi and Li Qin) received many mixed controversies.

Adapted from the novel of the same name by Thuong Nguyet, the film "Seven Nights of Snow" tells the unforgettable love story between swordsman Hoac Trien Bach (Tang Thuan Hy) of Dinh Kiem Cac and valley master Tiet Tu Da (Ly Tham) of Duoc Su Coc.

During the 8 years they lived together and from their own thoughts, they gradually understood and sympathized with each other. Although they understood and agreed, they could not express their feelings because each person had responsibilities on their shoulders, and in the end, they were separated by life and death.

The first 4 episodes aired on October 9, the drama "Seven Nights of Snow" disappointed when it only reached 5,047 points on Iqiyi - equal to the score of the drama "Nhan tam ky" (La Van Hi, Tong Dat starred). In addition, the number of advertisements in the first 4 episodes of the drama was only average, 2 advertisements/episode, with a total duration of 64 seconds.

Along with that, the audience criticized the work when it was invested heavily but the post-production was not good, there were many sloppy scenes, unattractive effects, especially the scene where the main couple dived underwater. Tang Thuan Hy's martial arts scenes were expected when watching the behind-the-scenes video, but when it was filmed, it disappointed viewers because it lacked power.

While the content and pace of the film are quite slow, the film's motif is old, the male and female leads, although being top actors, do not create the feeling of a couple. The media commented that with a gloomy start, the ability of the film "Seven Nights of Snow" to turn the tide will be extremely difficult. Especially at a time when Chinese historical romance films are no longer as popular as they are today.
