The romantic comedy Perfect crown starring IU and Byeon Woo Seok will be released globally on Disney+ and MBC.

Perfect crown is set in Korea during the monarchy, telling the story of Grand Prince Lee Wan (Byeon Woo Seok), who was suddenly caught up in a power struggle between members of the royal family.

Under pressure, the prince agreed to marry in name Hee Joo (IU), a beautiful, talented heiress to a Korean tycoon corporation but of commoner origin.

The film is adapted from a webtoon of the same name, currently filming in Korea and Europe, with Suzy and Kim Seon Ho starring. Recently, there was also information that one of the filming locations of the project was in Vietnam.

Portraits of delusion is set in Gyeongseong (Seoul during the colonial period) in 2015, following in the footsteps of Yoon Yi Ho (Kim Seon Ho) - a painter assigned to paint the portrait of Song Jung Hwa (Suzy) - a mysterious woman with many rumors and who has lived in seclusion for more than half a century. The royal drama was filmed in Germany and many other locations in Europe. Investment in setting, fashion, and production design promises to bring a magnificent work.

The plot revolves around Queen Navier (Shin Min Ah) of the Eastern Imperial City, who lost her queen title after Emperor So Vieshu (Joo Ji Hoon) fell in love with a escaped slave named Rashta (Lee Se Young). She later regained her title by marrying Prince Heinrey (Lee Jong Suk) of the Western Imperial Court.

Other works

Another Korean drama recommended by Disney+ is Gold Land - an action crime film starring Park Bo Young, Kim Sung Cheol and Lee Hyun Wook.

This dramatic film written by Oldboy screenwriter Hwang Jo Yoon revolves around a huge gold vault and various characters trying to win that gold.

Part 2 of the thriller A Shop for Killers starring Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Joon will return in 2026.

In addition, Disney+ revealed that the hit drama Made in Korea is in production for season 2, and is scheduled to air in 2026. Meanwhile, part 1 will start airing from December 24 this year.
