From November 28 to December 28, Korean time, the Korea Brand Reputation Research Institute analyzed the brand activities of 1,730 K-pop idols in areas including consumer participation, media activities, communication, and community activities, using big data.
After topping the list in November with an overwhelming 19,872,121 brand reputation points, Rose once again became the No. 1 K-pop idol in terms of brand value in December, earning 18,825,475 points.
Blackpink's Rose dominated the K-pop idol individual brand value rankings for the second consecutive month with the enduring popularity of her hit single "APT." featuring Bruno Mars.
Big Bang member and solo artist G-Dragon came in second with 6,115,841 points, while aespa's Karina came in third with 5,998,096 points.
The top 30 individual Kpop idols with the highest brand value in December include: Blackpink's Rose, Big Bang's G-Dragon, aespa's Karina, IVE's Wonyoung, BTS's Jin, ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, BTS's Jungkook, BTS's Jimin, Blackpink's Jennie, IVE's Yujin, TWICE's Nayeon, Red Velvet's Irene, aespa's Winter, Seventeen's Hoshi, Red Velvet's Joy, Blackpink's Jisoo.
The chart also includes: Seventeen's Wonwoo, Blackpink's Lisa, The Boyz's Juyeon, BTS's RM, Kang Daniel, Seventeen's Jun, aespa's Giselle, Seventeen's Mingyu, Seventeen's Jeonghan, BTS's V, EXO's Baekhyun, aespa's Ningning, Big Bang's Taeyang, and IVE's Liz.
