On November 28, journalist Ta Bich Loan had a farewell party with her colleagues. She will officially retire in December 2024. This news made many viewers and colleagues regret having to say goodbye to the "powerful woman of VTV3".
Journalist Ta Bich Loan was born in 1968 in a family with a tradition of academics: Her father is an economic engineer, studied at a university in the Soviet Union and taught for many years at the University of Science and Technology. Her brother is an Associate Professor, PhD, currently the Director of the Center for Applied Research and Technology Innovation of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Ta Bich Loan's brother is also the first Vietnamese scientist to be selected to receive the Nagamori Prize (Japan).
Ta Bich Loan herself is a famous journalist, her career is associated with many famous programs of VTV3.
In 1995, the female journalist worked at VTV. One year later, she joined the staff of VTV3 and, together with journalist Lai Van Sam, built the program "SV-96".
After the success of SV96, Ta Bich Loan took on the role of scriptwriter for "7 colors of the rainbow" - one of the "first generation" game shows of VTV3.
This is a program organized as a knowledge contest for high school students nationwide, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with Vietnam Television from 1996 to 1998.
Not only writing the script for "7 Colors of the Rainbow", Ta Bich Loan also co-hosted the show with journalist Luu Minh Vu.
At the end of 1998, the female journalist continued to develop the script for the program Road to Olympia and became the first MC of this program. Ta Bich Loan was also the one who came up with the idea of awarding laurel wreaths to the winners of the "mountain climbs" of "Road to Olympia".
In March 2000, Ta Bich Loan left her role as MC of "The Road to Olympia" but she remained the director of the program until 2003. To this day, after more than 25 years on air, "The Road to Olympia" still retains its appeal to the audience.
Along with building and developing "Road to Olympia", journalist Ta Bich Loan also left a strong impression as the MC of the program "Contemporary People". This program has a history of 11 years of broadcasting, in which the female journalist has met more than 500 guests, bringing many positive values to the program.
With her sharpness and extensive experience, Ta Bich Loan also brings a special attraction to the program 60 Minutes Open. She left a strong impression on this program with her direct questions and frank dialogues with guests.
With positive contributions to the unit, in 2007, Ta Bich Loan was appointed to the position of Deputy Head of Sports, Entertainment and Economic Information Department of Vietnam Television Station VTV3.
In 2017, she held the position of Head of VTV3 Entertainment Program Production, concurrently Director of VTV6, and Head of the Radio and Television Department of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Also in this year, Ta Bich Loan was honored by Forbes Vietnam magazine as one of the 50 most influential women in Vietnam.
With her great contributions and reputation, Ta Bich Loan is always called by her colleagues and audiences as "the powerful woman of VTV3".
