Adapted from the novel "Diary of a Prime Minister", the historical drama "Security of the Brocade" tells the love story between La Than Vien (played by Truong Van Y) - the son of an estranged concubine and the prestigious young lady La Nghi Ninh (played by Nham Man) of La mansion.
Not bound by traditional etiquette, Nghi Ninh often protects "third brother" Than Vien when he is bullied and discovers his talent in literature and martial arts.
After an incident, Nghi Ninh was resurrected but possessed by the soul of another girl. She did not want to be controlled, longed to escape from old standards and used her own strength to open a shop, to be free and independent. Grateful to Nghi Ninh, Than Vien helped her when her business was in trouble. They understood each other, gradually developed feelings and faced all challenges together.
On the plus side, although it has not been shown yet, "Security of the Brocade" starring Truong Van Y and Nham Man has received impressive results.
Of which, the trailer surpassed 6.03 million views, broke 500 thousand pre-orders (August 18) and reached 1 million pre-orders (October 7). On Weibo, the film had 290 million reads, 1.52 million discussions and 4.1 million interactions.
In Vietnam, the film will be broadcast simultaneously on VieON from October 10. "Security" is expected to surpass "The Legend of Liu" by Truong Van Y in collaboration with Vuong So Nhien.
After the trailer and poster series, the audience commented that Nham Man's appearance is brighter, more attractive, and has a slimmer figure. Previously, Nham Man was criticized for her fierce gait and expression when playing the female lead role with Tieu Chien in "Ngoc Cot Dao".
As for Truong Van Y, he still maintains his elegant and serious demeanor. The audience believes that Truong Van Y's acting will create a convincing effect for "Cam Tu An Ninh".
