A video titled "IU Reason real real estate EP. 81 IU" was released on salon Drip. During the interview, IU discussed the balance between her work and her life. She shared: "I like to stay at home, but I still do things related to my work. My regimen changes as soon as I put on makeup and as soon as I remove makeup. I think that the fact that Lee Ji Eun (the singer's real name) and IU have different names also played a part in this."
IU was also asked by the MC if fans recognized her in real life: "Don't people recognize you because of your voice?". She replied, "When I go to a restaurant or coffee shop to buy something, they recognize me. I have changed my voice once or twice in my 18 years of working. When I go out, I speak loudly and say differently."
When host Jang Do Yeon mentioned, "I heard you gave me 100 holiday gifts," IU smiled and admitted, "I started when I was young, but now I can't stop."
She explained, "Whenever I meet a new person, I take notes and update my list."
When asked by the MC: "Is anyone eliminated? (ie, who can't get any more gifts)," IU replied, "I've been doing this for about 10 years... I sent it with all my heart. I rarely remove people from the list."
IU also shares her personal gift giving style. She said: "Most of the 100 gifts were food, but I prepared them differently for each person. Some people like meat, some are vegetarians... I guarantee that the gifts are not overlapping."
She also shared, "Some people think I do this because I feel an obligation, but I really like it. The joy of giving is really wonderful".
