Kim Yoo Jung's obstacle when filming with Kim Young Dae

Dear X is a new project by Kim Yoo Jung, but before it was released, the film has been plagued by concerns about Kim Young Daes acting ability and plagiarism.

Dear X is based on the webtoon of the same name by Ban Ji Woon.

The work tells the story of Baek Ah Jin (Kim Yoo Jung) - a famous actress who achieved success by taking advantage of others and Yoon Joon Seo (Kim Young Dae), Kim Jae Oh (Kim Do Hoon) - two men who are ready to commit to hell to save her.

Before the screening, Dear X was involved in a scandal of plagiarizing the poster and had to apologize and remove the image. At the end of September, Kim Yoo Jung and co-star Kim Do Hoon were rumored to be dating in Nha Trang but quickly denied that this was a trip with the "Dear X" film crew.

At the press conference, Kim Yoo Jung shared that she and her co-star laughed for 3 minutes when hearing the rumor. The actress said that it also shows the public's interest and hopes that this project will be a success.

According to Kim Yoo Jung, she was so drawn to the role in Dear X that she did not look at the screen on set. However, the actress said that she was not who she was.

I try not to consider this too big a challenge. If I think about pressure, I'm stressed. Through the webtoon, I have grasped the nature of the character. On set, I focus on expressing emotions through my eyes. Hopefully the audience will feel this.

Contrary to the audience's expectations for Kim Yoo Jung's comeback after the movie "My Devil", Kim Young Dae's appearance as the male lead was a concern, as the actor's recent works all recorded low viewership ratings and were not highly appreciated for his acting.

For example, in the movie "Rising to the Moon" (ending on the evening of October 31), he plays Ham Ji Woo - a talented CEO but wants to pursue singing. In the film, Ji Woo develops feelings for Jung Da Hae (Lee Sun Bin) - a female employee with a difficult background but always lives positively and works hard.

Like the movie marriage is not a disadvantage (co-starring with Shin Min Ah), once again in the movie Rising to the Moon Kim Young Dae was criticized for not having a chemistry with his co-star.

His young face became a weakness, making him different when standing with his co-star. The actor's stiff expressions and even dialogue are also major disadvantages.

The fact that Kim Young Dae has been continuously invited to play the main role since the movie upper class War shows that he has good film resources, however, this is also a challenge as he has not been able to fully depict the emotions and depth of the characters he plays.

With the movie Dear X, Kim Young Daes acting skills continue to be a big question mark. The film is scheduled to air its first 4 episodes on November 6.
