Before NewJeans wanted to terminate the contract, ADOR spoke up

DI PY |

When NewJeans made a request to HYBE about the possibility of terminating the exclusive contract, ADOR - the group's management company spoke up.

On November 27, one day before the deadline stated in NewJeans' letter (the group threatened to terminate the contract because HYBE had not resolved the issues they raised), ADOR spoke up to explain.

Regarding their previous silence, ADOR representatives stated: "We are concerned that the disputes may cause unnecessary controversy about ADOR artists.

Therefore, we have maintained a cautious stance. However, despite our efforts, the controversy continues, forcing us to clarify our position."

However, ADOR's statement is considered unclear and still general. This also does not resolve the issue of whether ADOR will negotiate and keep NewJeans to continue accompanying or not?

Recently, the dispute between NewJeans and Belift Lab - the company that manages ILLIT has become increasingly serious.

Hanni - a member of NewJeans revealed that she overheard a manager from another record label affiliated with HYBE advising someone (ie the group ILLIT) to "ignore" her.

Belift Lab - ILLIT's management side responded, denying the complaint, stating: "ILLIT members never made such comments and ILLIT members never passed by NewJeans without saying hello to them".

This incident also strained the relationship between NewJeans and Belift Lab - the management of ILLIT. It even led to a crisis between NewJeans and HYBE - the management unit of Belift Lab.
