The 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF-29) took place from October 2 to 11 in the port city of Busan, South Korea. "The Doctor of Foreign Medicine" marks the first collaboration between Lien Binh Phat and Truong Quan Ninh. In the film, Lien Binh Phat plays the role of a doctor. He has a kind heart and always helps patients with all his heart. "The Doctor of Foreign Medicine" was conceived in 2020 but was not completed until 2023.
