“Squid Game 2” premiered its 7th episode at 5pm on December 26th, Korean time. But just a few minutes later, a series of articles criticizing T.O.P appeared. Fans wondered whether entertainment reporters and critics had actually watched all the episodes that T.O.P appeared in.
Many articles in the Korean media criticized T.O.P for his clumsy acting and poor dialogue. Sports Kyunghyang even emphasized that T.O.P was the only acting flaw in “Squid Game 2”, with embarrassingly clumsy skills.
To the suspicion of many viewers, Hankyung reported that “Squid Game 2” had a press screening on December 23, airing all 7 episodes. However, reporters had to sign an agreement not to write a review until 5 p.m. on December 26.
