In response to mixed public opinion about the plan to organize a party and concert in Doi cave (also known as Cung Dinh cave), a cave system at Vung Duc Relic and Scenic Area, Cam Dong ward, Cam Pha city, representatives of the Department of Culture - Sports - Tourism (VHTTDL) of Quang Ninh province said that this cave is located on the shore, not in Ha Long Bay, so it can be studied and exploited to open more unique tourism products.
In addition, the Vung Duc Relic and Scenic Area has been recognized by the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province as a tourist destination, assigning the People's Committee of Cam Pha city to develop an exploitation and investment plan to become a tourist destination to meet the needs of the people and tourists.
Moreover, for many years, a business has been licensed to exploit, do business in tourism and services here, including organizing meals and music.
However, there needs to be a plan to both exploit and preserve and protect nature.
"We have requested companies that want to exploit this cave to develop a plan, ensuring that it does not affect the landscape and environment of the cave to submit to relevant departments, branches and units" - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province - said.
A representative of Vung Duc Tourism Company Limited - the unit currently exploiting the cave system here to serve tourism and services - said that according to the plan under construction, the company will relocate all the construction in Doi Cave before this company receives it. In which, some toilets inside will be demolished, and the site will be restored.

Cooking and processing dishes is absolutely not done in caves, but must be done in the kitchen outside. Meals will also be organized in a lighter direction, prioritizing buffets to suit the space in the cave and suitable for enjoying dishes while listening to music.
Previously, after the public worried about the plan to organize meals and concerts in Doi Cave that could affect the landscape and environment of this cave, the People's Committee of Cam Pha City took action.
According to the People's Committee of Cam Pha City, Doi Cave is located in a beautiful cave system in Vung Duc. In which Thien Dang Cave, Long Van Cave are original relics; Doi Cave is not the original cave.
Through inspection, Vung Duc Scenic Area is currently managed by Vung Duc Tourism Company Limited to exploit according to regulations for attractions and tourist attractions (Having a certificate of land use rights; Certificate of business registration; Management records, monitoring of fire prevention and fighting and rescue activities to register electronic tickets according to current regulations and organizing ticket sales, listing ticket prices at the entrance gate of the attraction; arranging human resources to manage and serve as tour guides, cleaning to ensure environmental hygiene and conditions to ensure safety for visitors coming to visit).
The company is doing a good job of preserving the original state of the natural cave with boulders of rocks in Thien Dang Cave and Long Van Cave (according to the relic records established in 1999); at the same time, maintaining the current status of the road and infrastructure to ensure safety for visitors when visiting and learning about the Vung Duc scenic spots invested by a company many years ago.
At the tourist destination in the Doi Cave area, there are locations for selling drinking water, buffets, conferences, seminars, and games when visitors request and without affecting the original protection area of the relic (Tien Dang Cave, Long Van Cave).
