On November 2, the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Miss Mekong Delta Contest held the preliminary round of the contest, nearly 1 month after its official launch (October 5).
The Head of the Jury of the 2024 Miss Mekong Delta Contest is Ms. Pham Kim Dung - General Director of Sen Vang Company; the Jury members include: Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc - Miss Intercontinental 2022, 1st Runner-up Miss World Vietnam 2022; Che Nguyen Quynh Chau - 1st Runner-up Miss Grand Vietnam 2022; Pham Tuan Ngoc - Mister World Vietnam 2024.
In the preliminary round, the contestants introduced their strengths and outstanding achievements... Through that, the judges selected 30 beauties for the final round.
Mr. Ngo Anh Minh - Director of Viet News Media and Entertainment Company, representative of the Organizing Committee - said that the special thing about this year's contest is that it is only looking for 1 beauty queen, with a total crown and prize value of 500 million VND; along with 11 attractive secondary prizes.
The theme of the 2024 Miss Mekong Delta contest is closely linked to the cultural beauty of traditional craft villages, through the language of fashion, performed and inspired by the beauties participating in the contest.
Through this contest, the Organizing Committee hopes to contribute to promoting the beauty of the Mekong Delta's craft villages, thereby promoting tourism development in the localities.
The activities within the framework of the contest will take place from November 23 to December 19. The final night of the contest is scheduled for December 21 at Hau River Park, Can Tho City.
Also in the series of competitions, the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Miss Mekong Delta Contest is holding a Miss Crown Design Contest. There are 75 entries in the contest and the Organizing Committee will select the best one to create and award to the crowned beauty.
