At noon on March 12, Dhillon Law Group Inc - the legal unit representing singer Dam Vinh Hung in the $50 million lawsuit with singer Bich Tuyen and her husband, said that after the accident, Dam Vinh Hung initially filed a lawsuit with the High Court of Cam District, accusing Mr. Gerard Richard Williams III and other defendants of being unnamed for negligent acts in ensuring the safety of guests.
According to the complaint, on February 19, 2024, Dam Vinh Hung was performing at a separate concert when a large concrete fountain that was said to be being used as a performance stage and a drinking table improperly collapsed to his feet.
The male singer's lawyer said that the incident caused Dam Vinh Hung to be seriously injured, including having to amputate four toes after emergency surgery.
Dhillon Law Group, the unit that took over the lawsuit of singer Dam Vinh Hung, also said that after receiving the lawsuit, they will make significant changes to the lawsuit when continuing to investigate the parties with additional responsibilities.
