Waste
About 20 stone and metal sculptures created by 28 domestic and foreign artists in the International Sculpture Composition Farm in 2006 are currently located in Thuy Tien Lake Park area (Thuy Bang Ward, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City).
These works of art have been exposed to the sun and rain for many years, while the exhibition area has been devastated, with garbage and overgrown trees, and the landscape has seriously degraded.
According to research, these sculptures are part of the Hue Festival 2006, with the participation of 16 international artists from 10 countries and 12 domestic artists.

Since Thuy Tien Lake Park stopped operating, the entire area has been abandoned, and the works have also fallen into a state of being forgotten. The statues have been left without protective human hands for many years, becoming shabby, covered with moss, weeds and full of carpentry.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, some stone statues fell and cracked due to lack of care, the statue body exposed long, concave blades due to external forces. The sculptures lying around and chaos in a crowded park caused a stir.
Finding a "rescue" plan
It is worth mentioning that the situation of these art statues being forgotten at Thuy Tien Lake Park is not a recent thing, many years ago there were many opinions, reflecting this wasteful situation.
Mr. Le Trong Trung (a resident of Hue City) is a person who loves art, design... When visiting Thuy Tien Lake Park, he saw poor statues hidden in the grass, Mr. Trung expressed regret.
Every time I come here to see the giant dragon of Thuy Tien Lake, the first image that hits my eyes are the old statues lying idle on a ruins. I heard that there would be a plan to rearrange the statues, but it has been like that for several years now, it is a pity" - Mr. Trung said.

Although dozens of valuable sculptures have not been "rescued" from being forgotten, the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival recently continued to announce the Hue International Sculpture Composition Farm 2025 Project with the theme "Hue Impressions, Vietnam - 2025".
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Organizing Committee of Hue International Sculpture Writing Farm 2025 said that the works made in this year's program will be arranged in public areas to serve the community, while focusing on being placed in the Nghinh Luong Dinh area to maximize the value of the works, avoiding them being forgotten.

Also related to the plan to preserve statues and information to PV, the leader of Thuan Hoa Green Park Center said that the area of Ho Thuy Tien Park was handed over to the Center with the management and exploitation limit of the lake area and walking roads, and the statues are not under the management.
However, during the management of Thuy Tien Lake, when seeing a mess in the statue display area, the unit will clean up to avoid losing the aesthetics and waste.
