Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan said that the 95th death anniversary of Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac - the father of President Ho Chi Minh - is not only an occasion to pay tribute to Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac, who "sowed the seeds of revolution" in his hometown Dong Thap, but also an opportunity for us to look back and promote the historical and cultural values of the nation.

Early next December, Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee will organize a scientific seminar "Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac - a lifelong example of dedication to the country and people", to deepen the understanding of his life, career, activities and great contributions to his homeland and country.
On this occasion, the Nguyen Sinh Sac Scholarship Fund Mobilization Committee also reported on its activities in 2024. This year, agencies, businesses, and philanthropists inside and outside the province donated VND 9.6 billion to the Nguyen Sinh Sac Scholarship Fund to award 570 scholarships to disadvantaged students and carry out many scholarship activities in the locality.
Over 14 years of operation, the total amount of money and goods donated to the Fund is worth 136 billion VND.
