Nearly 2 months ago (September 29), due to the impact of storm No. 10, a major thunderstorm occurred in Hoang Giang commune, Thanh Hoa province, damaging hundreds of houses. In addition to houses, public works, power lines and relic sites were also seriously affected.

Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the People's Committee of Hoang Giang commune said that after the tornado, the government and people have overcome the consequences. In particular, the relic sites in the area were damaged to different degrees in many places.
The most severely damaged relic site is the temple of To Hien Thanh - Tran Chat Chan (Vinh Gia village, Hoang Giang commune). Here, the tree system broke down, crushing the holiday shopping area, in addition, many other items in the temple area were also damaged.
According to many people, after the tornado, the relic management board and the construction unit came to level the shopping area and proceeded to build and renovate some items. However, when the construction was taking place, it was suddenly stopped.

The representative of the People's Committee of Hoang Giang commune said that the temple to To Hien Thanh - Tran Chat Chan is a provincial-level relic, so all renovation, renovation and construction activities must be permitted by competent authorities.
"The repair and renovation was carried out by the relic site management board and a number of individuals on their own initiative. When we learned about the incident, we asked to immediately stop construction at the relic site" - this person said.

Also according to the representative of the People's Committee of Hoang Giang commune, because the initial assessment of the relic site was not severely damaged, the locality did not report to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa. When discovering that the repair was not in accordance with regulations, the commune stopped construction to report to the relevant authorities for consideration of a handling plan.
It is known that the temple of To Hien Thanh - Tran Khac Chan (also known as Vinh Gia embankment) was built hundreds of years ago, worshiping Grand Tutor To Hien Thanh ( Ly Dynasty) and the two Guardians of the Supreme General Tran Khac Chan (Tran Dynasty). In 1994, the temple was ranked as a provincial-level historical - cultural, architectural and artistic relic.
