On the morning of November 2, at the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Dong Anh commune, the People's Committee of Dong Anh commune (Hanoi) coordinated with the Center for Employment Services, Hanoi Department of Home Affairs to organize the Mobile Job Fair in 2025. This is the first large-scale job fair held after Dong Anh commune was established according to the two-level local government model, bringing nearly 1,700 quality job opportunities to workers in the area.
The event attracted the participation of representatives of 34 businesses and hundreds of workers and students.
In her opening speech, Ms. Nguyen Thi Luong - Vice Chairman of Dong Anh Commune People's Committee - emphasized that this is an activity of profound social security significance, demonstrating the government's concern in connecting labor supply and demand. The newly formed Dong Anh commune has a population of more than 122,000 people, therefore, job creation is identified as a key task associated with the socio-economic development strategy.
"We hope that through the trading session, businesses will be able to recruit suitable personnel, and more importantly, many workers in the commune will have stable jobs, increase income, and contribute to ensuring social security," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Luong.
Appreciating the efforts of the locality, Mr. Nguyen Tay Nam - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs - said that organizing a trading session is one of the practical solutions to implement Plan No. 199 of the City People's Committee on supporting and developing the labor market. According to the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs, in the first 10 months of 2025, the whole city has created jobs for over 195,000 workers, exceeding the annual plan by 15.75%.
"As the northern gateway of the capital, Dong Anh has great potential to develop the labor market. The successful organization of today's event not only solves immediate needs but also serves as a premise to build more regular and effective job connection activities in the future," said Mr. Nam.
The 2025 Dong Anh commune job fair brought 1,698 recruitment targets, including 350 labor export targets. Large enterprises such as Dong Anh Cement Company, Viet Y aluminum Company Limited, Vinhomes Joint Stock Company... have directly interviewed and recruited many diverse positions from business, accounting, information technology to production workers, drivers, security guards.
In particular, the labor export sector to the Japanese and Korean markets also attracted great attention with job opportunities for engineers, trainees and international students. Not only a job search location, the event also provides career counseling, providing information on labor law policies, helping workers and students have a clear direction for their career path.
